From 24–28 November, St. Mary’s NA celebrated Poetry Week with an explosion of creativity and expression! Pupils explored powerful themes of kindness, justice, and care for creation, beautifully linking their work to Catholic Social Teaching.

Key Stage 2 pupils took part in the Young Poet Laureate project, joining an inspiring online masterclass with renowned poets Laura Mucha and Zohab Zee Khan. Younger classes collaborated on group performances, while KS2 showcased solo and group pieces that highlighted their talent and confidence.

The week concluded with an exciting Poetry Slam, where pupils performed original poems for parents with flair and courage. It was a fantastic celebration of words, creativity, and community spirit!
