At St. Mary's, we believe that personal development is a cornerstone of our mission, called by God. Our curriculum is interwoven with golden threads of gender, culture, and carers, ensuring a holistic approach to education. We offer a myriad of planned events that enrich our students' experiences, such as visits from the local MP, the Lord Lieutenant, and career talks and workshops featuring esteemed professionals like the CEO of Wilton Engineering.

Our close ties with the local community, including businesses and care homes, further enhance our students' growth. Year 6 students form the Children's Leadership Team, undergoing formal interviews and actively engaging in their roles. Our vibrant School Council visits the Houses of Parliament annually and regularly invites the local MP to our school.

The Eco Team serves as role models, participating in activities like litter picking and gardening, while peer mentors are trained to support their peers during playtimes. Year 6 buddies also play a crucial role in assisting younger children during playtimes.

Our web of events is meticulously linked to the curriculum and the liturgical calendar. Highlights include Science Week, featuring a science fair, and charitable events during Lent, such as the Big Lent Walk and the Lenten Market, where children create and sell their own items. Additionally, our pupils engage in Catholic social teaching projects, including writing to the elderly and running a Fair Trade shop.

At St. Mary's, personal development is not just a goal but a lived experience, deeply embedded in our community and faith.
